Black Friday is here and Elemis have some amazing offers to take advantage of.
Most of you probably know my beauty favourites from Elemis (you can find them in this blog post – https://chloelovestoshop.com/2020/10/my-elemis-skincare-favourites/) so as it’s less than a month until Christmas, I thought I would share a few gift ideas with you. I am certain that most people would be thrilled to find the gift of Elemis under the tree.
Something for the men in your life
This is Nick’s favourite moisturiser. He says it’s hydrating but not sticky or oily, which I think is a common complaint amongst men when it comes to using moisturiser. If they can feel it on the skin, they are less likely to use it. It also happens to be my Dad’s favourite, and until recently, when it became almost impossible to send a package to South Africa safely, I used to buy it for him and send it over.
I have been encouraging Nick to use the Sensitive Cleansing Wash on his face in the shower instead of soap (!) This facial wash is for sensitive skin so it’s very gentle and I leave it in the shower so that he remembers to use it.
And finally the SKIN SOOTHE SHAVE GEL (£25 less 35%) would be a real treat for any of the men in your life. It is formulated with micro-capsules containing skin-soothing Arnica and Jojoba Oil and is ideal for sensitive skin types. An active blend of Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel is expertly combined with Chamomile extract and cooling Menthol to provide an effective medium for a precise shave without any irritation. Post-shave, skin is left feeling soft, smooth and calm.
The Gift of Massage
I have been using the De-Stress Massage Oil (£40 less 35%) on my very tight calf muscles, feet, neck and sore shoulder before I go to sleep. I think self massage is often overlooked and under-utilised. It’s so easy to do and having a proper massage oil to use makes all the difference. The De-stress Massage oil has a blend of Rosewood, Melissa, Marjoram, Geranium, Rosemary, Lavender and Chamomile essential oils and leaves your skin feeling very soft and your mind very relaxed.
The clever pouring functionality means that you can’t pour too much on your hand. Obviously if you live with someone that’s willing to give you a massage, even better, but don’t forget you can grab the massage oil and get into those knots yourself when you’re feeling tight. Just remember to put a towel down on the bed or sofa before you get started.
Rub the calf muscles with both hands using long upward strokes. Use your thumbs, forearm, or the heel of your hand to apply more pressure in spots where the muscle feels tight or has knots.
The Gift of Soft Hands
This is my lovely mum’s favourite handcream and would make such a lovely gift. It is fast absorbing and contains a luxe blend of Milk Protein, Avellana Seed oil, Omega 7, Camellia, Virgin Plum and Macadamia which provides a silky protective barrier that locks moisture into skin. Fragranced with delicate White flowers it leaves your hands smelling exquisite. White flowers, the fast-absorbing, silicon-free texture leaves skin feeling supremely soft, looking youthfully radiant and smelling exquisite.
