Winter looks with Amazon Fashion

*This post was written in collaboration with Amazon Fashion* – AD

This month I have been trying various trends, reaching the conclusion that there are quite a few that don’t suit me and some things are best left to admire on others. So far I have ticked chunky Chelsea boots, shackets and jumper dresses off my list. I have realised that I feel my best most comfortable confident self when I stick to the classics, so for this month’s Amazon Fashion edit, I have selected timeless outfits at two very different ends of the sartorial scale.

Let’s starting with a very practical dog walking/taking children to the park/trip to the supermarket type outfit.

I am wearing a really lovely parka from Lee. It is machine washable (perfect for muddy paws or sticky fingers) and really warm. Khaki is such a great colour option for Winter as it works so well with all my neutrals and makes a nice change from black.

  1. Khaki Lee Parka – I am wearing an XS
  2. Sorel Boots – true to size
  3. Grey Jumper – I am wearing a Small
  4. Levis – These come up big.

I’m always on the lookout for boots that are easy to get on and off, comfortable and warm and these boots tick all of those boxes. They’ve been perfect for my walks with Teddy. They come in lots of different colours and are greatly reduced. I have actually been wearing them without socks (they are that comfortable!)

In complete contrast, my second look is a timeless dress by one of my favourite designers, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi. Ever since my daughter Milla did some modelling for Preen when she was a little girl, I have been a huge fan of their incredible designs, and they have recently collaborated with Amazon Fashion with this more affordable Preen Line range. I think the magic of their designs is the way they make you feel when you wear them and this dress made me feel GREAT. I  picked out the rich burgundy colour in the dress and  paired it with an old pair of boots that I had in my cupboard, but if you are looking for something similar Amazon Fashion have these.

One of the best features of this dress is the contrast stripe design at the back. I love the unexpected element and the dropped hem is also really flattering and comfortable to wear. This would make such a great choice for a wedding or a christening, but would also look just as good dressed down with trainers.

*Size wise, I would say this dress was generously sized – I am wearing an XS and there is plenty of room.*

And, finally, my third look, featuring another piece from Preen Line, might be of interest if you’re someone on regular zoom meetings and are dressing that top half! It’s a beautiful, timeless piece that would make you feel special and very presentable!

Preen Line Blouse

Jeans – The Drop (True to size I am wearing a size 6)

Sandals – The Drop

I hope you’ve enjoyed my selections this month.

Hi Chloe the parka is gorgeous on you. Do you know if it is water repellent?

    Thanks x

Yes it is! I put it to the test yesterday in the pouring rain and the water mostly ran off… not 100% waterproof but definitely showerproof with a very nice big hood that doesn’t fall down over your eyes xx

Thanks so much! I will definitely buy it now that it has got so cold x
