This week’s edit is full of things that I have had been thinking about for our upcoming staycation in Dorset. From a recent poll I did on instagram stories I know that 65% of you will also be staycationing, so hopefully some of you might find this useful for packing ideas. It’s not full of summery dresses, because they don’t feel quite right for a staycation in the UK, but I have included some boho finds that I would consider ‘off the beaten track’.
My packing list
Jacket – Top of my list for a staycation in the UK is a good jacket that goes with everything. I already own my go-to jacket (Topshop a few years back) but I was very excited to find this one on Amazon this week. It has the all-important pockets and is a great colour to pair with denim and neutrals.
T-shirts, a couple of white blouses and some linen shirts – I have been looking for a few new t-shirts to wear with denim shorts or jeans. I really love my new LA tee from Love, Sweat and Tees, a small independent brand owned by Hayley who I discovered on instagram, but I will also be packing some plain t-shirts with me and in particular my black tank with shoulder pads which is now just £9.99 in the sale.
Swimwear and a hat – I have bought the leopard print bikini from H&M in the edit below. I have always found the quality of H&M swimwear quite good. I really like the tummy covering high waisted bottoms. I will also be taking a couple of one-pieces with me.
Denim, joggers and khaki trousers- as you know I live in jeans (mainly Topshop at the moment) and so I’ll definitely take a couple of pairs of jeans with me. I spotted a couple of pairs of jeans that I thought looked like a great shape which I have included below.
Hoodies and Sweatshirts – do have a look at the grey puff sleeve sweatshirt, I think it’s lovely and would be a great staple.
Comfortable footwear – I will be packing trainers, wellies, sandals and flip flops for our trip. I have included some footbed sandals in the edit as I seem to be living in mine at the moment.
