I’d heard so many great things about Beauty Pie and after turning down an opportunity to work with them when they first launched (I had other beauty collaborations at the time that I felt might conflict) I thought it would be a good idea to take out my own membership so that I could give you an honest review.
I took out the minimum membership of £10 a month which gives me a spending limit of £100 a month. At the time, I looked at the member prices and thought, ‘£100 is loads, I won’t spend that much each month!’ What I hadn’t realised is that your spending limit is calculated on the non-member prices, so you reach it fairly quickly!
Membership price £13.48 , typical price £50
Let’s say you’re on a £10 pm membership, your spending limit is £100 and the candles are worth £50, that means you could buy two candles in a month. If you add on your membership fee and postage, your candles work out at around £20 each. Still fairly good value. I would definitely buy the candles again.
Member price £4.97, typical price £30
I wasn’t too impressed with the shampoo and conditioner. It didn’t do wonders for my hair and there are less expensive shampoos on the market that work better for my hair. Wouldn’t repurchase.

I have been really impressed with these. The serum feels amazing on the skin and I get a slight tingle after application which I quite like as it feels like it’s working. I love capsules as there is very little waste and one will do your entire face. (I tend to neglect my neck, but I think you’d probably need another one for neck/decolletage area) They also travel really well (just take the number you need) and I think vitamin C is a skincare step that none of us should be without. Would definitely repurchase as I think these are excellent value for money.
Member price £5.87, typical price £25.
This is a gel to oil to milk cleanser. It’s fragrance free and melts into your skin removing all your makeup gently. It doesn’t sting or leave your skin feeling tight. I would definitely buy this again as I think it’s great value compared to similar high end cleansers I have tried. I am also in love with the packaging! It suits my dry skin, but I would probably avoid this product if you have acne prone skin.
Member price £3.95, typical price £20
When I first used this mascara I was very disappointed. It was messy, prone to splodging and a bit of a nightmare to remove. After a few weeks, and perhaps a little drying out, it’s better and does really coat and build up my lashes, but given how hard it is to remove, I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

I really like this product and have been using it on days when I am having a break from my Skinceuticals Retinol. I would suggest this would be great product to try if you are new to retinol as it’s quite gentle. If your skin is very used to retinol then the Super Retinol High Dose Booster Treatment might be worth trying. Would repurchase

This product is currently out of stock and I know why. It’s probably my favourite of all my purchases. I use HA twice a day, first thing after cleansing. I love the way this glides on and sinks in and it doesn’t leave any sticky residue on my skin. I always think of HA as a drink of water for my skin. Would definitely repurchase. Great price.

Okay so this is not a great saving at member price, but if you are thinking of trying the Beauty Pie Foundation then it would make complete sense to get your colour right. I really liked the foundation and found my shade fairly easily. I haven’t ordered the full bottle of foundation yet as I am currently using an incredible new discovery (Erborian CC nude cream) but I thought the formulation was lovely. Would repurchase the full bottle.
I think Beauty Pie is great value when you find a couple of products that you really love. If you aren’t sure, start with a £10 membership and see how you get on. Beauty Pie operate a referral scheme so if you use my name at checkout (CHLOE SAMWELL-SMITH) you will get your first month free. I will definitely keep going with my membership but at the moment I feel two products a month is enough.
