I wanted to share a couple of pieces that I selected as part of my Partnership with QVC, as they have gone online today and I have a sneaky feeling they may sell out quite quickly.
I’ve had a long relationship with Ghost which started in 2000. One of my girlfriends had been working with John Galliano at Christian Dior and left to take up the role of Head Designer at Ghost. This meant I had the heads up for all the sample sales and ended up with quite a good collection of Ghost pieces. I haven’t been able to part with some of them, particularly the dresses that I wore to special weddings (hers included) as they hold such wonderful memories for me. When she left Ghost after 6 years, the label fell off my fashion radar until very recently when I bought myself this beautiful zebra cobalt blue dress and I remembered just how wonderful Ghost dresses make you feel when you wear them.
When I went along to QVC for my selection day , I was very excited to see a selection of Ghost pieces. There’s something very special about the cut and the fabrics with Ghost designs. They feel amazing on and are cut to flatter most body shapes.
The skirt I am wearing has just gone online today, and I don’t think it will hang about (insider info, it is going in a fashion show tomorrow!) so if you think you have a leopard wrap skirt hole in your wardrobe, don’t delay!
I am wearing an XS and I am a size 6 waist. I have dressed it up with a backless knit from Sezane and heeled sandals, but this is a skirt that would look just as good dressed down with a white tee and trainers for every day wear.
The second piece I chose was this beautiful pink dress which would be the perfect choice for a wedding or Christening this summer. I am wearing an XS. I have paired it with my favourite leg lengthening nude heels, but you could spice it up with a colourful heel or sandal. I love the buttons and the subtle shoulder pads give it such a good shape. I also think it’s such an elegant length. (I am 5’4)
One of the best things about Ghost pieces is that they are all machine washable (30 degrees) and really do wash and iron very well.
Happy Shopping!
