I have had lots of messages recently about Advent Calendars and since they all sell out SO quickly, this blog post is probably a little late. Last year my husband treated me to the Liberty Calendar for Christmas. At first I wasn’t sure if it was worth the expense but, almost a year on, I am still enjoying many of the products (including the Le Labo perfume) and it did introduce me to lots of lovely new products. I see the Dr Sebagh Serum repair is included again this year, that was one of the products I really loved. It says it has sold out online, but if you click through you can still add it to basket ? If you want one though, don’t delay as it does sell out quickly. Last year I managed to get the very last one in store. I was very kindly gifted the White Company Calendar this year (which has sold out now unfortunately) so I won’t be buying any this year, but I thought I would do a round up of my top 7.
2. John Lewis Calender – £140.25
Another calendar that is always very popular. But it’s worth having a look at the product list and making sure they are brands you love or have heard good things about.
3. Marks and Spencer Beauty Advent Calendar – £280 but £35 with £35 spend
This is always such a good deal. £35 is really easy to spend in M&S. Again, check the contents and see if you think there are enough products that you would like to use/try.
This calendar only has 12 drawers, so you’d only get to open every other day. Good value for money? I am not sure, you would probably need to workout the cost of each product. I do love the travel sizes though, they are so useful when you go away.
For £55 this one offers some great brands. Certainly worth having a look at the content list on this one.
6. Space NK Beauty Advent – £250
Space NK have rather brilliantly given a visual contents list! There are some really lovely products in this one, including the Luna oil by Sunday Riley.
*It’s worth mentioning that SPACE NK have a deal on at the moment, where if you spend £300 then you will reeceive 32 products worth over £500! Only while stocks last though*
This has to be the creme de la creme of Advent Calendars. It’s certainly the one I would buy if I had the cash to splash. I don’t, so I hope for my annual Diptique candle from Father Christmas instead!
Thanks for reading.
Love
