Dreaming of Spring

Every now and then I fall in love with a piece of clothing that screams ‘I must be yours’. Often they are outside of my sartorial comfort zone, but there’s just something that turns my pupils into emoji hearts and I start thinking about all the outfits I could put together and places I could wear it…May I present Exhibit A, the green floral duster coat. (I actually prefer the term kimono but who am I to argue?)

It might have something to do with the fact that I am pining for warmer weather and this feels like Spring in cloth form, but I have taken the plunge and ordered it.  Here are a few ways that I plan to style it..

Isn’t it amazing how one piece of clothing can have you dreaming of Summer so quickly?! One thing I did want to alert you to was the black scalloped cami which I blogged about a couple of weeks ago. I have been trying to track it down after it sold out in all sizes online and was out of stock in all stores (even Oxford Circus!) last week. I’ve just discovered that they have a Petite version, so I have ordered it and if you think it will be as useful as I do, don’t delay because the petite version is selling out very quickly too.

Right, back to the reality that is Sunday night homework cramming and 3 x World Book Day costumes to sort for Thursday. Every year I come to the conclusion that it must be some form of punishment for mums… We have two Katniss Everdeens (different schools) and one Mr. Bean to put together… wish me luck!

Love,

Chloe x
