Wedding Fever

It’s wedding season! Unfortunately at almost 40, our wedding invites have dried up and rather wonderfully, almost all of our friends have stayed married, so we don’t even have second weddings to go to. No complaints there… So I’ve decided to get my wedding fix by putting a few outfits together with some gorgeous sale finds and hopefully they will spark a few ideas for items you already own, or if you have a gap to fill.

A great way to add a touch of glamour is to add a statement earring, picking out a colour in your outfit and matching it to your earrings. Check out AlicesWonders  who I discovered through Instagram and Etsy for  gorgeous tasselled options.

Happy Shopping, Happy Weddings, you lucky things!

Love,

Chloe xx

I do have a wedding to go to, my cousin’s….next year! The bliss of having cousin’s younger than me! Otherwise we’d have to wait until the next generation…
I love your idea of statement earrings, I’m keeping it in mind. Any ideas for modern up do’s, as this wedding is in August, and I hate my hair down in the heat.
Even though the wedding is next year I’m already in “plan the outfit” mode. I’ll be doing separates, at the moment it’s a toss up between two outfits: the first, a navy cream print midi skirt, navy top, navy cream jacket (short tweed with cream piping and a sport lux feel to it), cobalt shoes and turquoise clutch. The second is a navy lace pencil skirt, navy pink floral top, with the cobalt shoes and pink bag.
I may have thrown a spanner in to the mix as I’ve just ordered a pair or wide leg trousers in navy with cream embroidery stripes down the side. In my head they’ll look great with my navy cream jacket…
