This post is for anyone with a little girl to buy clothes for. Milla and I went to Next this afternoon to find her a bikini for our holiday. There were so many gorgeous things that we picked out so I thought I would share them here. I often find an online trawl at Next far too overwhelming, and soft, comfortable fabrics are so important when it comes to children’s clothing. So hopefully this post might save someone a few hours trawling online or the shops! That’s the idea, anyway…
Starting with these, perfect for slightly older girls who live in trainers… This is such an easy style of shoe to slip on and off and denim will go with everything. Milla said they were really comfy.
We split opinion over these… I thought they were really cute, she didn’t… Perhaps for a younger girls?
We both loved this little star dress. It is 100% viscose so really light and soft.
Milla tried it on with this little denim jacket.
You will have to forgive the bad lighting in the changing room, but this little top was gorgeous and Milla said it was really soft on. As we all know with children, if something doesn’t feel comfortable on, they won’t wear it! She also really liked this little playsuit – unfortunately I think both items are new in so neither are online yet.
We only bought her a bikini, because that’s what we went for, but she had so much fun trying on a rail full of clothes. (The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!) I am not a huge fan of the itsy bitsy triangle bikinis on little girls, but she had her heart set on one, so I thought this was the perfect compromise.
I also spotted some gorgeous bits for much younger girls…
I am still unable to reply to any Direct Messages on Instagram. I have no idea why and it’s really frustrating. I had lots of you asking where her dungarees she is wearing in this photo are from. They were a sale buy from Matalan.
Short and (very) sweet today!
Love,
