Currently Coveting on the high street…

I have just done my usual scan of all my favourite high street stores and their ‘New In’ sections and thought I would share my picks with you.

Embroidered Linen Dress

Next Dress – £36

New Look Manhattan Tee – £9.99

(Very reminiscent of the Gucci Tee)

& Other Stories Swimsuit – £45

This is a gorgeous swimsuit for the price and comes in a variety of different colours if red is a little too ‘Baywatch’ for you!

Topshop Shoes

Miu Miu esque shoes from Topshop – £46

These would be the perfect pair of summer shoes for anyone that works in an office and needs to be a little smarter. They’re not too high and are sure to be conversation starters. Pair with tailored black culottes or trousers and a crisp white shirt and let your pretty shoes do the talking.

Starry Sky Print Dress

Star Print Dress from &Otherstories – £89

This is new in at &Otherstories and I expect it will sell quickly. It reminds me of a RIXO dress with it’s beautiful astro-print. (100% viscose)

White Broderie Dress.jpg

White Broderie White Dress – £55

Some of you might remember this white &Otherstories dress that I featured on instagram a little while back.  I ended up sending it back, as it was a little too tight around the tops of my arms, and I also thought it would be far too hot for the Greek heat on our summer holiday. However, I haven’t stopped looking, and am very tempted by this one.

V neck

Swimsuit &Otherstories – £45

This really caught my eye, the print reminds me of this Isabel Marant swimsuit (below) that I lusted after a few years ago. The deep V is also a surprisingly flattering cut on a swimsuit.

Isabel Marant

frill dress

Black Frill Dress &Otherstories – £69

The perfect LBD for a summer holiday. I love the way it’s longer at the back and shorter at the front, a perfect style for someone like me that isn’t that tall, but doesn’t like wearing dresses that are too short. It is 100% viscose and I just love it’s simplicity. The frill on the chest adds the perfect touch of romance and femininity.

Mango dress

Mango Dress – £79.99

I fell in love with this dress last week in store, but they didn’t have my size so I walked away and haven’t stopped thinking about it. It’s the most beautiful shade of green (pistachio ice-cream anyone?) with stunning embroidery and although £79.99 seems a little steep for Mango, the quality is comparable with some much higher end brands.

That rounds up my high street edit for this week. The question is, can I resist ordering from this list…?

Happy shopping!

  1. I love the Star print Dress – it’s saying “Coming soon” when I click on your link. Do you know when it will be live? (or does that mean it’s already sold out). I’m never sure on Other Stories sizing (I’m a 10-12) but it looks like it’s fairly free sized so hopefully worth ordering (way up North in the sticks!)

I tried the white & other stories dress a couple of weeks ago. It was totally see through! Lovely for a holiday or the beach.
