The Red Dress

Let’s talk about the red dress. Feminine, bold, romantic, fresh, evocative and timeless. I love the way I feel when I wear red and in the summer, nothing beats a red dress. Here are my favourites, all available to buy now.

Red ASOS

ASOS – £42

I love the length of this dress. It is also 100% cotton and fully lined so a bargain for £42. Have a look at the front of the dress too. It’s just so pretty.

Red Dress ASOS

ASOS – £38

This is perfect for anyone who doesn’t like to show off their decolletage. Probably better suited for those with a smaller bust. It is 100% viscose and has a very pretty frill wrap at the front. I also love the asymmetrical hem and back detail.

red maxi tea dress

ASOS Maxi Tea Dress- £40

This dress is great for anyone who doesn’t like showing the tops of their arms. It’s the perfect day dress and I love the buttons down the front of the dress. The back has a deep V which might pose a bra strap problem?!

Mango

Mango £49.99

This is a slightly more orangey red, but I absolutely love the style and length of this dress.

Whistles

Whistles – currently £159.20

This is a beautiful if you have an occasion coming up. Whistles currently have 20% off so a good time to buy.

At the upper end of the budget, is this smarter silk version from Philip Lim. Absolutely beautiful, definitely a forever dress.

New Look – £27.99

Midi Dress

New Look – £27.99

When I wear red I like to keep my footwear and accessories neutral (nude, tan, gold) I am not a big fan of black shoes with a red dress for some reason. They’re a little too stark, a bit ‘soldier’ perhaps?!
