Treat a mum this Mother’s Day

This week I ran a competition with Very Exclusive to win this lovely hobo bag  for Mother’s Day. I asked people to tell me how they would spend their perfect Mother’s Day, and reading through the comments made me realise how many of my followers have sadly lost their mums. Mother’s Day can be a very difficult day for many, especially those who have experienced a recent loss. So I thought I would put together a few ideas for gifts that you can either give to your mum, a mum you know that needs spoiling or yourself!

Marks and Spencer have a great deal on at the moment. If you spend over £30 on a beauty item, you get this beauty box worth £80 free.

So here are a few ideas to help you spend that £30!

Eyeko

Eyeko Lash Alert – £19

I have just started using this Mascara and it is REALLY REALLY good.  I don’t have great eyelashes so I am always looking for a mascara that really opens them up and gives them thickness. Here’s the technical blurb from Eyeko, but trust me, it’s good…

Using Korean technology, our high-powered growth promoting mascara includes the following key ingredients for improved lash appearance 24hrs+
– Hydrolyzed Silk protein — wraps around the lashes to provide 12hr protection and strength helping to avoid breakages and naturally building volume and thickness
– Amino acid L-Arginine —  proven to have an enormous effect of hair growth because it’s effect on raising blood circulation stimulating faster hair growth and improving weakened hair follicles and breakages
– Ceramide — reinforces damaged lashes by smoothing the cuticles closed preventing any further potential damage
– Biotinoyl Tripeptide -1 — repairs and strengthens by penetrating the hair to help close split ends. They help to swell the hair shaft which gives the impression of thicker hair — extra body and fullness!

Neom Candle

Neom Candle – £30

You can never go wrong with a Neom Candle, especially one called ‘Happiness’

Emma Hardie

Emma Hardie Facial Oil – £34

I haven’t tried this, but I keep reading good things about the Emma Hardie range. If anyone reading has tried it, I’d love to hear what you think of it.

pixi

Pixi Glow Tonic – £18

Pixi’s Cult product and best seller. I use their Glow Tonic and love it.

pedicure socks

Pedicure Socks – £9.50

Nighttime pedicure socks. I thought these would make a great little gift. You wear them overnight and wake up to soft feet! And the best bit is that you can wash them and reuse..

Philip Kingsley

Elasticizer – £30 (150ml)

I swear by Elasticizer. I use it once a week and my hair is always noticeably softer and shinier afterwards. Another cult product that really does work!

So those would be my beauty picks, but here is the full range of M&S beauty products.

Or, how about treating yourself or a mum to this beautiful ‘Mum in a million’ rose, which you can pre-oder for delivery.

rose

Mum in Million Rose – £25

rhubarb

Rhubarb Gin – £36

My husband bought me this as an early Mother’s Day present and it’s delicious!

Muscari Glass bowl

Muscari Glass Bowl – £36

Who wouldn’t love to receive this beautiful planter.

throw

Herringbone Throw – £45

This is new in at M&S and is so beautiful. A new blanket is always a lovely treat and this one would go with most colour schemes.

floral print dressing gown

Floral Print Dressing Gown – £39.50

I have tried to suggest things that aren’t too expensive, as I don’t think you need to spend a fortune. After all it’s the thought that counts!

Happy Shopping and an early Happy Mother’s Day.

Love,

Chloe x
