The Lipstick Edit

One of the questions I am asked the most, is the brand and colour of lipstick I am wearing. So I thought I would do a very quick round up of my top four, that I wear on rotation.

From Left to Right

Mac ‘Lady Danger’ – £16.50 (Buy here)

An all time favourite. This has a real ‘pop effect’ and is long wearing. I think it suits most skin tones, probably the reason it’s one of Mac’s best sellers. It’s a more orangey toned shade of red so I tend to wear this in the daytime.

Nars ‘Schiapp’ – £21.00 (Buy here)

One of the best pink lipsticks out there in my view. It’s bright though, so not for the faint hearted!

Charlotte Tilbury ‘Stoned Rose’ – £24 (Buy here)

This is an everyday lipstick for me. Its a really lovely warm tone, for those days when I don’t feel like wearing a bright lipstick. It’s not too pink, not too nude and not too red. Definitely one of my favourites.

Charlotte Tilbury ‘Red Carpet Red’ – £24 (Buy here)

This is a deeper, richer shade of red, which I tend to wear more in the evening. Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are really moisturising and long wearing.

Love Macs Lady Danger and All Fired Up too but find them quite drying. Think it was you that recommended a nice Chanel one at some point? Love your style!

    • i know what you mean about drying. I have to use a lipsalve with them… but their colour is hard to beat. Yes I do have a nice Chanel but it’s much the same in terms of drying. I think if you look on my makeup edit under beauty it is there… x
