After delivering my eldest back to school after yet another 11+ interview this morning, I decided to have a little mooch around M&S. It’s a really beautiful day, and despite the cold, there was a touch of spring in the air, so it felt like a good time to go and try on new season clothes.
I wanted to share my picks with you, because there are some serious gems to be had and when M&S get it right, they sell out quickly.
Indigo Collection – Peasant Blouse – £35
Love this blouse, perfect with jeans and sandals in the spring. The fringing detail gives it that Isabel Marant inspired edginess and it’s a really flattering shape for those wanting to hide a ‘mum tum’.

Indigo Striped V Neck Long Sleeve Top – £15
Okay, this is not a ‘wow’ top by any stretch of the imagination, but it would be such a useful basic in your wardrobe. I liked the fit and feel and thought it was a bargain for £15.
Style idea – pair with blue dungarees, a denim skirt or blue jeans. (Image via Pinterest)
This skirt is absolutely beautiful. The bad lighting, my socks and weird leg pose are not doing it justice. It also comes in a beautiful shade of grey.
Peplum Hem Fluted Sleeve Jumper – £29.50
I tried it on with the peplum jumper. It’s very soft and the sleeves are heaven. This is similar to the blush pink and grey jumper that has been all over instagram, but without the high neck. It also comes in grey.
Pure Cotton Textured V- Neck Jumper – £29.50
I absolutely love this jumper. The lacing at the back is heaven! And such a good price. The perfect jumper for the Spring.
Utility Long Sleeve Shirt – £35
Now this *may* have come home with me, I love it SO much. (‘Scuse Pouty McPoutface, apparently it’s my concentration face and according to my girls I pout when I do my makeup!)
Styled to perfection, below…
And finally, this dress, which does come with a slip, but I was too lazy to put it on, so it is not as see-through as it is here. I have nothing on underneath.
Ditsy Print Long Sleeve Maxi Dress – £45
I am 5’4 and it was the perfect length for me to wear it with trainers.
And guess who is wearing an almost identical dress and looking as beautiful as ever?! One of my favourite style icons, Olivia Palermo… As you can see it would look amazing with heels too! Don’t wait for this one, I predict a sellout…
There we go, my little edit- I hope you’ve seen some bits that get you excited!
Love,
Chloe x
Lovely selection! My mum works there so I’ve asked her to pick up the shirt and the lace back jumper in black and ivory, I fancy a white or ivory jumper for spring with blue denim and some Stan Smiths which are on my wish list 😊
Amazing! Lucky you. Yes love love love that look. I tried on the ivory and it’s beautiful but I’m the clumsiest person alive and it wouldn’t stay white too long! 😉
Gorgeous! Chloe did you have any luck with black jumpers btw?
Not yet. I’m on a mission next week!! 😉
Beautiful! That peasant shirt 😍! Is the dress very sheer ?
Dress is sheer but it has a slip that comes with it. I wish I had bought the peasant top. Bet it sells out quickly! X
Amazing selection! How true to size is the peasant blouse? I adore it, such an easy spring wear.
I think im wearing an 8 but it could have been a 10… I tried so much on!! From the other bits I would say it’s all running true to size… x
Fabulous selection- love it all and you wear the dress better than Olivia IMHO ! 😃✨
Awww you are kind! Thank you xxx
I love this post, and I’m going to check out the Indigo Collection as I usually only head to the Limited Edition range-I’ve been missing out.
Thanks

Me too!! I had no idea which collection I was in, then realised afterwards that was Indigo ! Would never normally look online! Just shows….
