Feeling the Green

I was lucky enough to nab a green cashmere jumper in a Chinti and Parker sample sale a few years ago (for £50!) and every time I wear it, I not only feel really calm, but I also get loads of comments about what a lovely colour it is. I think it’s because it hasn’t been a colour that we’ve seen much of in the past few years, but Pantone has revealed the colour of the year for 2017, so I expect we will see a lot more green in the shops come the Spring. Although ‘greenery’ as it is referred to, is a fresh and zesty yellow green, which I think is more of a ‘Waitrose’ green.  I think I can safely say it’s a colour I will NOT be wearing, but never say never, right?! However, I do think that there is shade of green to suit everyone, it’s just about finding the one that makes you feel good.

I call my Chinti Jumper a ‘Gucci Green’- as you can see Gucci have an almost identical shade of jumper.

How amazing is this kitchen? I wish we had been a bit more adventurous when we did ours all those years ago. I have a friend who is in the process of buying a new house which needs a total renovation and I am so envious of the ‘blank canvas’ she’s about to start with. She’s ‘feeling the green’ for her kitchen, so I found a few images on Pinterest for inspiration and fell in love with this one! Just gorgeous.

Thanks for reading. I am off to swap my usual cup of builders tea for something ‘green’!

Love,
Chloe x

I bought a dark green dress for a wedding in November and loved wearing the colour. Will definitely look out for more of it. PLEASE let us know if you hear of any Chinti sample sales…!
