I wanted to share a few things that have caught my eye this week. Many of them, I was very tempted to buy, but I am saving my pennies for a splurge December purchase… watch this space…
Starting with Warehouse…
This Warehouse top on the left is very similar to the Kenzo x HM top on the right, but I think I prefer the colours of the Warehouse one. Great for layering and looks more expensive than it’s £29 price tag.
The perfect day to night blouse. A little Equipment-esque, for a fraction of the cost!
I absolutely love this skirt, it’s so feminine and it feels gorgeous on. Ruffles in skirts are big at the moment, and this would transition well from winter to spring. I would pair with a plain black jumper and boots in the winter and a plain t-shirt and sandals in the summer, but you could also dress up with heels for a winter wedding. A very versatile piece for £49!
Okay, not terribly glam, but sooooo comfy and so useful. Grey is an easy colour to wear in the winter and I love a bit of ‘velour’ to snuggle in… Pair with jeans and trainers for a chic every day look, plus you can pop the hood up when you are freezing on a train platform like I was today…
Moving on to Mango…
I bought these jeans to try on at home and the fit is incredible. Very similar to the Stella McCartney star jeans. If you like a star print, they are a really great buy and run true to size. As they are quite busy, I would pair with Stans and a plain top.
For anyone that missed out on the Topshop velvet skirts, this is gorgeous and a really easy colour to wear in the winter. A mum at school had hers on with black tights, a slogan jumper and trainers the other day and she looked amazing.
This beautiful shirt comes in three different colours, including black. I think a plain silk shirt is such a wardrobe staple. Understated chic that will go with most of your wardrobe for under £50!
Moving on to River Island, which I have to be honest isn’t somewhere I shop from that often, but every now and then I wander in for a browse and a few things catch my eye. (That said, I have a few pairs of their jeans and they are a great fit that hold their shape throughout the day…)
I tried these boots on and they are a total bargain for £25. (Down from £40) Great for the festive season. The lovely Zoe (@dresslikeamum) wears her silver boots so well with black tights and skirts if you are looking for outfit inspiration…
I love the pop of red at the back of these (a little Isabel Marant) which look so comfy and add a little bit of much needed extra height (in my case, anyway!)
I am a sucker for all things french and monochrome with a drop of positivity! This ticks all my boxes since it’s also 100% cotton..
This is one of the few things that I liked in the Archive by Alexa collection. I love the shade of navy and the military style. Very classic and chic.
It’s that leg lengthening side stripe again, and these have a slim fit design. I would probably wear with trainers. These are new in and a great price at £29.50.
I have been looking for a long winter dress for a while but none been quite right, until I saw this one on someone today. Yes it’s from their Per Una range, and I have to admit that I would never normally look in the Per Una section but it really caught my eye. Toughen up with a biker jacket and boots…
A simple but beautiful leather cross body bag in a really lovely shade of gold.
I am definitely missing a white or cream lace blouse and seeing Fran (@the_fashionlift) in her Monsoon blouse today made me want to rush out and buy this one.
That’s all for today. Thanks for reading and as always, happy shopping!
