I invested in a pair of leather trousers from Dom Goor four years ago, but it was just after Charlie was born and they are now a little on the big side for me since I have lost all my baby weight. I have been thinking about investing in a new pair because I have worn my pair repeatedly every winter for four years, but have been looking around to find a pair that are slightly more affordable. I missed out on the H&M leather trousers for £199, but having had a little look around, there are a few good options if you are looking to invest. I love to wear mine with trainers and a cashmere jumper in the daytime and with boots or heels and a top for a night out.
So here’s my little round up of the best out there. Starting with these from Hush. These are leggings not trousers, so I would aim to pair with a longer jumper, shirt or top so that the crotch/bottom area is covered.
I have actually ordered these from &Otherstories as I think they are an amazing price, but you’d need to be quick, they are selling out…(I think I may have bought the last size 34!) * Update – These arrived and are amazing. They are heading back because I have decided mine are absolutely fine and the bit that is too big is the bit I would want to keep covered anyway. But if you are looking, I can highly recommend these.
Good old M&S have come up with a pair at an amazing price for leather leggings and I think these would definitely be worth trying on.
A fellow instagrammer has leather leggings from Baukjen and says they are amazing. I think the sizing is slightly strange though, so it would be worth trying on a couple of different sizes if you are in between.
These trousers from Topshop Unique are beautiful. Trousers rather than leggings which means you don’t need to worry about covering and could wear with a shirt or top tucked in. I absolutely love the shape of these.
These leggings are from Dom Goors Outlet shop, so are now £299 down from £595. I have them and the leather is buttery soft.
A lovely follower recommended these to me. They are from Iris and Ink (Theoutnet’s own brand)
And finally the the creme de la creme of leather leggings from Joseph, if anyone has the budget to really invest. They are absolutely beautiful (I have tried them on and will dream on!)
And here are a few ways to style your leather leggings.
