September : Lust List
I thought I would put together my current ‘Lust List’ as often the things I buy have sold out by the time I feature them on Instagram. I would love everything on it, but I really need to drill down and think about which items will get the mileage vs the one (or three) hit wonders. This can be really hard with high street shops like Zara, as often the allure of the price tag is too much to resist. But they add up, and I have a budget to stick to. For example, the Gucci belt would probably be a forever purchase that I would wear and wear again, but at £270 I would be able to buy a pair of shoes, a jumpsuit and a dress for the same amount. Argh, so hard isn’t it. Anyway, while I ponder the priority of my lust list, here it is for you to do the same!
I just saw that military jacket in Zara and have been umming and aahing about it since. As you’ve said – I just don’t know if I’ll get the mileage out of it, it’s not super expensive, but do I really need another jacket?!?! Then I think that because, like you, I love getting dressed for the school run, in winter, a jacket is the only way to express style, as everything else is always covered up in the cold! I’ll wait and see how you style it before I decide! Love your Instagram!
