My ‘mum uniform’ is without a doubt, jeans, trainers and a jumper, but there are days when I want a change from wearing jeans in the winter. I have been having a bit of a wardrobe clearout recently, and realised that I don’t own that many ‘every day’ winter dresses. They’re either way too formal from my office days, or too ‘dressy’ and there’s not much in between. I want a dress that I can dress down with trainers for daytime and dress up with boots for evenings. Something that flatters without flaunting… After all, I am mostly dressing for the school run!
Here’s the kind of dress I have in mind…
A wardrobe classic that would get lots of wear.
I love the simplicity of this dress.
For the ‘girly’ girls amongst us! I’d toughen up with boots or trainers and a leather biker.
Again, very classic but the gold buttons bring it up to date with this season’s military trend.
I love this dress. It’s comfy, chic and would look fab paired with a pair of Stans.
Aren’t these sleeves heavenly? I really like the raw hem too…
This dress is very similar to my Maje dress that I love so much. I would wear this with my beloved Chloe boots and leather biker jacket.
Comfy whilst remaining chic. Perfect for winter.
In case anyone reading is pregnant, if I had a bump right now, this is what I would be buying.
Completely in love with these pockets! It does look quite short so I would wear with thick black tights in the winter.
I hope you’ve seen something you like. As I type it’s 30 degrees outside, so it feels very strange to be thinking about winter dresses, but I don’t doubt we will be in them before long!
Thanks for reading and happy shopping!
Love,
Chloe x
I absolutely love the H&M dress – nearly fell off the sofa when I saw the price ! Fantastic thankyou for posting this, Louise
Oh so pleased. Thank you so much for reading Louise xx
Oh the ASOS lounge jumper dress is fab! I’m the same, always in my jeans and really need to get out of them every once in a while! I’ve banned myself from buying any trousers for a while and am going to force myself to do more skirts/dresses!
Thanks for reading! I know, aren’t jeans easy!
